Peace, snow, cold and sad

the house is clean and quiet
I have food, heat, clothes and too much stuff
Yet- in a yucky mood-
Why?

My desire is to live as one who freely gives all to Him...

I am in such a funky mood-
woke up without a song
lost my devotional book

Not sure what God wants to teach me

I look outside
it is so cold and so beautiful

2 birds sit in my bush outside the window
Still

Be still and know that I am God
I will be exalted among the nations

Psalm 46
1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.

the holy place where the Most High dwells.
