A morning song

I read somewhere that the Holy Spirit will put a song in your heart each morning- I have been trying to listen for one each day- today it was a favorite from GCS-
"They say we need money and power
they say there's no God up above
Don't they know our friend in high places
nothing is stronger than love
Seek first the kingdom of heaven
and all shall be added..."

That is what I am trying to do...seek His will
Allow Jesus to be the "firstborn" and rest in His strength.....

The verse for today-
“The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name.”- Zechariah 14:9

I am so thankful God that you are Lord-

Time together

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
Isaiah 26:3

I read recently that a marriage needs 20 minutes a day of conversation to work...I need to work on that - we often spend our time together quietly while the TV is on...hopefully we have 20 minutes of talking each day since my husband works from home...

I think I also need 20 minutes , at least, a day with God- listening to him- sharing my heart and my concerns...hopefully my "new" habit begins today...

Auction

The auction is Friday. The girls have worked so hard making baskets. Hopefully we will have a good turnout! Keep praying for GCS- we are still not sure what will happen next year.
